AI Hearing Aid Technology

The solution is an ecosystem of specialized applications for comfortable and fast AI-powered hearing aid fittings

Overview & Challenge

The Challenge

Personal injury law firms were drowning in an overwhelming sea of documentation that was crippling their operational efficiency. Teams of five or more legal assistants would spend an entire week painstakingly processing just two cases, with each case potentially containing anywhere from hundreds to tens of thousands of pages of complex medical and legal documents. The sheer volume was staggering, but the complexity made it even more challenging. These documents combined highly specialized terminology from both medical and legal domains, requiring expertise in two completely different fields of knowledge. Adding to the complexity was the complete lack of standardization across the industry – there were no unified standards for document formats, structures, or layouts, even within the same state or region, meaning every document could be formatted differently. The manual review process was not only extremely time-intensive but also required absolute precision, as legal work demands complete accuracy with no room for approximation or errors. This created a bottleneck that was directly impacting law firms’ profitability, limiting their case capacity, and preventing them from serving more clients efficiently. The traditional approach was simply unsustainable in a competitive legal market where speed and accuracy could make or break a firm’s success.

Client’s goal

Client

A leading provider of innovative patient communication solutions offering a comprehensive suite of tools and technologies that improve patient care, medication adherence, and operational efficiency.

Main Challenge

The main task before the client was developing a system that could completely replace the need for a hearing-impaired person to have a hearing aid fitting in the comfort of their own home through the use of AI. At the start, the client only had an idea and a 30% realized MVP

Solutions & Contributed features

End-to-end development of all the system components necessary for the full-fledged operation of the product including mobile app for iOS and Android, hearing test web service and backend architecture, specialized AI-powered chatbot with quick setup, which reacts to user’s request and gives him ready-to-use settings to tune the hearing aid as if it was done by a professional audiologist. Our team also worked on adapting a complex formula for remote adjustment of the device and placing it in the cloud so that the patient can use it without the help of a specialist.
